The third team to visit the Dovehouse Warehouse to assist with sorting out donations of clothing, household items and toys

A team from Hull Paragon ably supervised and kept to order by David Matthews spent Saturday morning sorting through black bags containing a variety of items, the majority of which were clothes.

Tasks included a second sort on clothes to ensure that they were of suitable quality and style to be sold in the many shops; first sorting of clothing from the numerous black bags and sorting through all the toy donations.

The team (an unruly lot!) were instructed by the regular Dovehouse volunteers/paid staff as the fun and fellowship whilst undertaking our various tasks meant that David had to ensure the process was simple.   He kept up a constant supply of items at one end which we dutifully churned out at the other.

Two members of the team were fortunate enough to be able to purchase some warm coats which will be donated to Dock House in the annual Christmas parcel.

We await the next date with anticipation!
