Can You Help Our Youth to Achieve Great Things?

Rotary District 1150 covers the southern part of Wales from Aberystwyth down to the Bristol Channel coast. Within our many structures we have a very strong New Generations Committee looking after a wide range of projects & competitions designed so that we can work with the youth & students in schools, colleges & other organisations.
All our competitions & projects enable all of those taking part to express themselves in a way that they may never have during their academic time in school. It is all worthwhile when a youngster of 12 years stands up in front of a hall full of people carrying out a debate with other team members, or when they prepare a 3 course meal for two people cooked within set budgets to top restaurant standards, or when you see the change in a student’s confidence and attitude after only six days on one of our RYLA Youth Leadership courses.
The above is only a small insight into what we do. If you feel that you would like to find out more about our good work, or perhaps even have the time to consider joining Rotary or are in a position to sponsor one of our competitions/projects, you can visit our web site or send me an email at phil@fabmec.co.uk I am here to help or assist, or put you in touch with the correct person who can help you. If you know an outstanding youngster who deserves recognition, why not nominate them for a Young Citizen's Award (see below).
