It is the role of the Membership Services Committee to assist clubs increase membership so that we generate sufficient new members not only to replace those who leave, for whatever reason, but also to increase the overall membership to our target of 10% nett. It is a fact that not only is our membership struggling to expand numbers but that the average age of those joining is getting older. Thus we are commited to promoting Rotary to a wider,younger audience whilst maintaining its trustworthy status within our communities.

The Committee is responsible for disseminating information regarding recruitment of new members and arranging membership seminars, either through a District event or club/s organised showcase.

We record membership trends, not only to monitor progress but also to highlight potential problems.

We will also assist clubs conduct surveys of their areas in order to identify possible scope for the formation of new clubs.

We will try and respond to requests from clubs to provide speakers about our work; we hope you will invite us.

We all enjoy our Rotary, whether for its fellowship, new friendships, community involvement or global impact: help us to help you create more Rotarians so that we can all further the cause.
