Fantastic News. Second Rotakids Club charted; Pomphlett Junior School, Plymouth.

Now TWO Rotakids Club Chartered in District 1290

 

 

Congratulations to the RC of Roborough Plymouth, and to Andrea Parker in particular, for setting up our 2nd * Rotakids Club in Pomphlett Junior School on 18th March. District Governorv Rtn John James was very proud to be able to hand over the charter to the club members at a lovely school assembly, DG John said, "These clubs are part of the future of Rotary, and I am pleased that there are plans for more clubs". Watch this space..

 *  Penryn Junior School Rotakids was formed earlier this year.

Fantastic News. Our first Rotakids Club, at Penryn Junior School has been charted. It is in fact the first such club west of Bristol and the Isle iof Wight! A great effort by Penryn Rotary Club and Penryn Junior School to get this off the ground. RotaKids is an exciting way for 7 to 12 year-olds to enjoy working on important fun activities that will make a positive difference in school, in the local  community and globally.Their first project is going to be to raise the money for a Literacy Box, bringing education to a remote school in Zambia.
