B O W L S 2011
Won by the Rotary Club of Preston South playing the Rotary Club of Barrow in the final:

The match can be played on Flat or Crown Green. Indoor or outdoor. The first named club in each case organises the date and venue in liaison with the other club.
Teams of 7 players. Five games to play - 3 singles and 2 doubles. Team winning most games wins. Teams with less than 7 players forfeit those games.
Each game is first to 21. Nearest ball(s) to jack get 1 point.
In doubles, the winning team of previous end (either player) leads off, opponent plays, then each play second ball, then the other two players bowl in turn.
If your club cannot muster a team please tell the other club you should be playing that this is the case as early as you can. If the two clubs cannot get the match played by the set date please ring me and we can perhaps arrange an extension. Games not played by the set date or one agreed extension are awarded to the away team.
Home club tells Richard the result who will reissue the Fixture List to all at the end of each round.
Enjoy!! Let us hope for some dry and warm and sunny evenings for the bowls.
