Ambassadorial Scholars

125 Rotarians and their guests from twenty-two clubs around the District joined District Governor Duncan Anderson in welcoming this year's ambassadorial scholars at a dinner held at the Chichester Park Hotel on 12th October.

Three of the studentsare Japanese;

  • Yurika Fujita, from Hashimoto City, is studying Tourism and International Development at Brighton University.
  • Mina Kobayashi, who lives in Kitashirocho, will be reading International Studies at Sussex University.
  • Also at Sussex - concentrating on Education and Development Studies - is Risa Mochizuki, whose home town is Unoki.
  • The fourth scholar, Daniella Rabino, who comes from New York and is studying Educational Development, will be joining them at Sussex University.
