Background

It would appear that as a result of the financial restraints imposed upon Local Authorities in recent months, some have revised their policies in regard to the lets of their facilities. Previously, the LA insurance policies covered the events run by organisations such as ours, however, several groups have recently been asked to provide details of their own insurance policies when booking a let. RIBI takes out annual insurance to cover most of the events that we organise, the details of which can be found from the link below, however, it is important to be aware that there are exceptions and check that your event is covered. Should you be uncertain then you are advised to contact the relevant RIBI insurance brokers directly.
