All Rotarians and their families are invited to play Touch Rugby
Fun and Fellowship for all - see photos below
Would you like to play Touch Rugby with members of your club?
Your wife? Or your husband? Your children? Even your grandchildren? (that should be good – Granddad not such a duffer after all!) Now you can!
Touch Rugby is a simple minimal contact evasive game that is played throughout the world by men & women of all ages and skill levels.
This easy and exciting game promotes the fundamental skills of running, handling, evasion and support play, whilst developing basic principles of attack and defence, without the fear of getting hurt. Touch Rugby is suitable for both beginners and experienced players and for men's, women's and mixed games.
It is a minimal contact recreational sport that is about playing the game on the field and also the social atmosphere afterwards. Fun and fellowship.
Teams have 6 players and typically 3 substitutes and games last 20 minutes. Whilst we do keep score it is actually unimportant. See attached leaflets for the method of play.
Family Fun Days were held on Sundays 17th July and 11th September 2011 at Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Club, Fulwood Preston.
