Computer Aid International has shipped its 200,000th computer! To celebrate this milestone DG Mukesh attended an event looking at the Practical Application of ICT's in Development.

There were speakers presenting from some of our most exciting projects talking about how ICT can and has improved the lives of people in the developing world. They include:

The UK Met Office - "how technology is improving food security and crop yields in Africa"

Macha Works, Zambia - "the value of ICT in rural Africa"

The African Medical Research Foundation in Kenya - "using telemedicine to improve health in rural areas"
