1. District Assembly, 20th May 2012

The District Assembly this year will take place at 2pm on Sunday 20th May at Napier University, Craiglockhart Campus, Edinburgh. See the Napier website for directions

This is an important meeting which will help prepare for the coming Rotary year and all members are encouraged to attend.  Click here for the outline programme

Please note that this year, in order to enable members to attend more than one session, each breakout session will be held twice during the afternoon.

In the morning, in addition to the Grants Fair, there will be a number of short workshops including the Rotary GB&I Moodle tutorial, Rotary GB&I template websites, the District Database and a club projects display.  Further details on the breakout sessions and workshops will follow.

This should a full, enjoyable and useful day. Please encourage your club to send at least one car full of members.

The District Magazine and District Directory 2012-2013 will be available for collection at the Assembly. Clubs not collecting these materials will be charged postage and packing.

The District team look forward to seeing you on 20th May for what we are sure will prove a productive day.

Olive Geddes
District Secretary

Whilst we are there for a few days we hope to be helping with the construction of the new school which is being erected to provide education for the Akha Children. One of the best defences against slavery is education.
