Oswestry Christmas Parade, Saturday 1st December

Members of the Club assist with the bucket collection at the annual Christmas parade.


After a wet start for the float decorators, the sun came out to smile on a bumper Rotary Christmas Parade to herald the start of the Christmas festivities in Oswestry. This years event was the biggest yet with 48 vehicle and walking floats and a band in the parade and thousands of people on the streets to watch the spectacle.

The Mayor Councillor Martin Bennett, Councillor Elaine Channon and Borderland Rotary  President Michael Tomley carried out the judging  before the parade commenced and
