Home | Visit to Cressing Temple

We will tour Cressing Temple from 6PM. It is a very interesting place, and the site of the largest tithe barns in Europe. It was once the property of the Knights Templar. (paste this if you’d like further details: www.cressingtemple.co.uk )

Rotary Wives’ Evening

30th July 2012

An evening is arranged to visit Cressing Temple. It will commence at 6PM.

Cressing Temple is a very interesting place. It is the site of the largest tithe barns in Europe. It was once the property of the Knights Templar. (Click here if you’d like further details: www.cressingtemple.co.uk )

The cost of the visit is £5 per person (£4 for those aged over 60). This is to be paid at the gate. The guide costs £45 – and this is paid in a lump sum. We will divide this up and collected later.

After the tour there will be the chance of a meal at the very pleasant ‘Dolphin’ Public House on the A120. It has a private function room that holds forty people.

Please indicate on the attached whether you’d like to visit the Temple and whether you’d like the meal at the ‘Dolphin’.

Thank you very much

Yours in Rotary

David Wells
