Etsuko is currently working as a Polio Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for UNICEF in Kabul, Afghanistan

Etsuko Matsunaga was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar  who was hosted in D1180studied at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in 2006-7.

She recently contacted me through FaceBook as she is now working in Kabul Afghanistan as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of UNICEF - Afghanistan, monitoring a Polio Vaccination Campaign carried out by the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan through financial and technical assistance from UNICEF. During this monitoring Etsuko came across vaccinators wearing the Rotary Polio Plus symbol who were not neccesarily local Rotarians. These Photos were taken in April 2012  by Etsuko  at Kapisa, Afghaniston a 2hr drive from Kabul.
