1. Re-districting within RIBI and suspension of the 2015-2016 District Governor Election

During the Rotary Year 2012-2013, RIBI is to commence talks and consultation on re-districting. The aim is to make the division of Districts within RIBI more equitable and is likely to reduce the number of Districts.

A committee has been set up to consider this matter and a plan will be presented during 2012-2013 with the aim of beginning implentation during 2013-2014. Clubs may be interested to know that DGN Kate Keter is a member of this committee as a representative of the 2013-2014 District Governors. Further information will follow as it becomes available.

In the meantime, we have been asked to suspend temporarily the appointment of a DG for the Rotary Year 2015-2016 which should be no later than the end of this calendar year.

2. Purple Crocus Buttonholes: deadline for orders

 A reminder that orders of Purple Crocus Buttonholes for Rotary Day 2013 must be with Thanks for Life co-ordinator Alan Bateman before 30th June.

The order form giving all the costs involved is on the District website. Please e-mail your orders to alanbateman65@hotmail.com

3. RIBI Membership Webinar: please pass to your Membership Chairman

A reminder that the second RIBI Membership Webinar is planned for:

5.30pm on 26th June 2012

The presenters will be RIBI Membership Development & Retention Chairman Peter Davey and RIBI Marketing, PR & Communications Chairman Tony Bacon.

The main presentation will be  'How best to take advantage of the forthcoming Public Image/Awareness Campaign to attract new members' and the webinar will end with a live Q&A session.
