Information from the District Secretary

The District secretariat team hold key positions in the work of their district councils and as guardians of the constitution, such councils depend upon them for expert knowledge of procedures and of the relationship between district and the General Council of RIBI.   They are able to give the help and advice required by the district council and the district executive committee, as well as assisting club secretaries in the wellbeing of their clubs.  They aim to encourage attendance and participation at district council meetings and to promote fellowship within the district. Their duties cover all business connected with district council meetings including the making of arrangements for elections.   In addition, they act as secretaries to district executive committees, are responsible for the keeping of district records and for the compiling of returns to RIBI.
