Our annual conferences are a great opportunity to keep up to date with what others are doing and to spend a social weekend with friends.
All Rotary Districts hold an annual conference, an opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones. The conference plenary sessions give us a chance to learn about the service projects undertaken by other clubs and to meet representatives from other charities who work with Rotary.
Our conference starts on a Friday afternoon and finishes at lunch time on Sunday. It’s not all work of course, we also have a full social programme with top class entertainment and music and relax with friends over a meal and few drinks.
We have over 600 delegates at our conferences so we use venues that can comfortably cater for those numbers. This year we are going to Southport but we also regularly use Scarborough, Llandudno and Douglas on the Isle of Man.
Rotary conferences are only open to members and their families but have a look at some pictures from last year.
Further details for Rotarians can be found in the members area or click the button.
