Rotary Awareness Month

Dear President

I would like take this opportunity of wishing you and your members a very good New Year and I hope that you are well on the way to achieving the various goals and ambitions you set yourself when preparing for your year as Club President. One of those goals may have been for your club to qualify for a Presidential Citation in 2013-14 and you will recall that there are 3 specific target areas;

  •      promote membership growth,
  •     enhance humanitarian service through Foundation and
  •      strengthen our network through the family of Rotary.

I have said during my club visits that we need to see an average increase of 3 new members per club this year in order to take our numbers back up to the target of 1,500 - a figure I was asked to predict at the RI Assembly in San Diego in January 2013, and that does not include any members we may lose along the way. I know it
