Art Event 2014

This will be the 12th in a series of annual art events in aid of charity held at the Marcliffe Hotel, North Deeside Road, Pitfodels, Aberdeen.


It will be held on Sunday 11 May at the Marcliffe Hotel  where proprietor Stuart Spence has once again generously donated the use of the Grand Ballroom for the evening.   This year's artist is Jane Birrell who is a Scottish artist trained at Grays School of Art and who now works from her home studio at Catterline on the Northeast coast.

Jane will create a picture in front of the audience who will follow progress with the picture being captured live and projected for all to see using a high-quality CCTV system.   Proceeds from the evening will be donated to Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland and Rotary charities.
