Data Protection: GDPR for Clubs & District

The GDPR requires that we use and protect personal data collected from other people in accordance with the law. There are significant financial penalties for failing to do so. As Rotarians, we have a moral obligation to the people whose personal information we handle and to the reputation of Rotary both locally and nationally.

As District Data Protection Officer, I am available to give advice on Data Protection issues to Club and District Officers. The Frequently Asked Questions document and the Risk Assessment Checklist, see links below, should answer most questions, but please do not hesitate to contact me.
