Young Photographers Judgement Day

The winning photographs in
the Young Photographers Competition were chosen last week by the Chief Judge, John Daly, ex Picture Editor and Chief Photographer from the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo. Photographed are John Daly along with Sue Dewhurst and Les Auld from the Southport Photographic Society along with Rotarians Nick Philpott and Gary Parker with club President Geoff Bigg.
The winners will be awarded their prizes by the Mayor of Sefton, Kevin Cluskey at a ceremony at Christ Church, Lord Street at 11.00am on March 14th, followed by a 2 week long exhibition of the prize winning photos and a large selection of the other entries in the Wayfarers Arcade.
The competition is free to enter and there are two categories - under 11 and 11 - 16, there is no restriction on the subject matter. For details on how to enter next years competition, contact the organiser, Gary Parker using the contact form below.
