On Tuesday 9th June over 100 pupils from Valley Primary, Balwearie High, St Andrews High and Rosslyn schools travelled to Craigtoun Country Park for a day of fun and games courtesy of the Rotary Club of Kirkcaldy.
The kids enjoyed all amenities of the park including boating on the pond, riding the miniature train, crazy golf, a bouncy castle and trampolines. The Army, Fire Service and Police were there giving the kids a close up view of their vehicles and equipment while members of the St Andrews High school Interact club added to the fun by donning animal costumes and supporting the kids
KidsOut is an annual Rotary project where pupils from units of additional educational support are given a day out at a local park. It's always a highlight of the year for Kids and Rotarians alike.
The Rotary Club would particularly like to thank the Friends of Craigtoun volunteers for coming in specially to man the attractions and coach companies Rennes and Stagecoach for donating the busses and drivers for a second year.
