Melksham Rotary was charted in June 1965 and so celebrating 50 years of service to Melksham

Melksham Rotary celebrated in style at Bowood Kerry Suite on Friday 29 April, with over 80 guests including past members and presidents of the club, fellow rotarians from local clubs, and 13 french guests from our twinning friendship with the Rotary club of Guingamp, France.

Rtn Sue Coe donated a birthday cake created by Cake2remember, which President Steve Fivash cut at the beginning of the evening.  Speeches from President Steve, President Ives from Guingamp, and District Governor Judy followed dinner, and the evening concluded with 5 traditional songs for the guests to participate in.

The weekend of activities included a trip to Swindon railway museum, a fish and chip supper with fun horse racing (competing for a box of chocolates) and a sunday lunch before our guests from France had to return home.
