Family Quiz and Supper at the Baron

Another of Paul's enjoyable and challenging quizzes, with lasagne and chips for supper and a little money raised....
This was another enjoyable evening with 8 teams all vying for the title of Quiz Champ. We had four rounds of ten challenging questions before supper ( which was the usual and very tasty lasagne and chips, a firm favourite) plus a picture round of famous bridges. Then we had four rounds after supper with the winners having a score of 57 ( joint winners being Ian, Carolyn and Adam tied with Margaret and friends ) while losers where previous winners Ivan and Cathy and friends on 48. Many thanks to Paul for his excellent organisation as always and £130 was raised for the Raffles lunch club ( for the lonely elderly in Knighton ) and thank you to all those who attended on the evening for the generosity with the raffle.
