The District membership team have resources to help clubs recruit new members, retain existing members and form new clubs.
The Membership team is lead by Stuart Sawle, an experienced Rotary leader who is a past district governor and has had a passion for membership and new club formation at club, district and RIBI level going back over many years.
Stuart set out the programme for this year at the District Assembly in May. He leads a very enthusiatic team of members with a passion and expeience of all matters relating to recruitment of new members, the formation of new clubs and satellites and the retention of existing members.

New Member Seminars
A half day seminar for new(ish) members was held on Saturday 29th September 2018. This is a popular and well attended session that runs two or three times a year, depending on the demand. The next one is likely to be in February 2019.
District Grants for Membership Development
Development grants are available to help clubs form a new or satellite club
Clubs may apply for up to 50% of the cost of promotional activity for membership development subject to a maximum of £500.
Qualifying activities might include:
Printing of a leaflet
Distribution of a leaflet
Hire of a meeting venue (excluding refreshments)
