We support the Presteigne Job Club

The Knighton & District Rotary Club has given a big boost to the work of the "Christian's Against Poverty" (CAP) Job Club in Presteigne by providing a much needed computer projector. The local CAP Job Club is hosted and resourced by Presteigne Baptist Church. Launched earlier this year the first Job Club course has already helped and equipped four local people into either paid or voluntary work.

One of the practical problems encountered in the pioneer course was the need to huddle round a monitor to see the visual material that forms an important part of the course. With the projector provided by Knighton Rotary more people can now see the material on a big screen in clear detail.
