PPL PRS Licence

Rotary clubs should be aware that Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland no longer holds blanket cover for PPL PRS following a merger between the two companies.

Despite Rotary’s efforts to secure an identical umbrella licence to previous years, PPL PRS are not willing to provide such cover at this time.

The only cover currently available relates to Santa sleigh activities, with the following conditions:

Santa sleigh events only

Only applies to the 1,723 Rotary clubs chartered as of 1st July 2018

Santa sleigh event must be taking place in December 2018

Confirmation of this cover can be found here.  Policy link

It is important that all clubs contact PPL PRS to ensure they are covered for any upcoming events which do not meet the above conditions where music is used, and that they have a licence in place.

You can contact PPL PRS by visiting their website or calling 0800 0720 808. Lines are open 8am – 6pm, Monday – Friday. https://pplprs.co.uk/

We apologies for any inconvenience this will cause.
