From Oswestry Life's Facebook:

The students all worked very hard and performed exceptionally well on the day. Head of Spoken English, Merriel Halsall-Williams, commented: “They were a great credit to themselves and should be very proud.”

The Intermediate team consisted of Maya, Eloise and Charlotte (U4) who spoke on the topic of ‘Anorexia’ eloquently and confidently. They now progress through to the District Area Finals on Friday 2nd March at the Catrin Finch Centre, Glyndwr University.

In the Senior completion, the A Team was made up of Emily, Eliza and Molly (L6). They spoke on the topic of ‘IVF’ and were runners up. With one mark difference between the winners and 2nd place, it was a tight finish!

Carys, Halcyon and Romy (L6) spoke well for the B Team on the topic of ‘The Ethics of Transplants’.
