Christchurch Community Liver Awareness Event

The event will be staffed by our own RBH Liver Team including Hazel Allen Consultant Nurse, Hepatology who will be on hand to offer expert help and advice on how to look after your liver. The team will also be making use of our mobile fibro scan for the first time in Christchurch ! The purchase of a mobile liver scanner has been made possible by a very generous donation from Christchurch Rotary Club for which we are very grateful.  Urban Health and Fitness Gym have kindly offered use of their space for free.

If you would like a free scan please do not eat for 2-3 hours before the scan so no breakfast until after ! A scan takes about 8-10mins and is c ompletely non- invasive so you don’t have to wear special clothes.
