Regional Young Chef of the Year Final
Hattie Price from Bourton-on-the-water wins Final
This was won by Hattie Price who took the
Regional winner’s prize and will now be heading to the Rotary National Young
Chef Finals. Hattie is from the Cotswold School Academy Trust in
Bourton-on-the-Water and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of North Cotswolds.
The Regional Final took place in the
impressive surroundings of the Abraham Darby Academy in Telford on 17th
March, and Hattie received her award from District 1210 Governor Carol Reilly.
Hattie's delicious menu consisted of smoked mackerel
paté with watercress and melba toast, salmon tagliatelle with crème fraîche and
dill (and she made her own pasta), and vanilla panna cotta with a raspberry
coulis and shortbread.
The National Final is to take place on the
28th of April in Telford, and Hattie will be one of eight finalists.
It is believed that this is the sixth
consecutive year that D1100 has had a National Finalist in this competition-
