The Hilary King Scholarship

Rotary District 1080 which represents the Rotary Clubs in East Anglia is pleased to announce a call for applications for Rotary Scholarships for post-graduate studies in the academic year 2019/20 sponsored through the Global Grants programme of the Rotary Foundation.

One scholarship of USD 30,000 is open to applicants from outside the UK, from low to middle income countries, who plan to study in 2019/20 at one of the Universities within Rotary District 1080 – Cambridge, University of East Anglia, Anglia Ruskin, and Suffolk under one of two of Rotary’s Areas of Focus:

·            Peace and conflict prevention / resolution

·            Economic and community development

The deadline for applications is 5pm Friday 22nd March 2019.

World-wide, the Rotary Foundation is one of the largest private providers of graduate scholarships. In 2017/18 Rotary in East Anglia is hosting 11 Rotary Scholars, mostly funded by their home Rotary clubs and districts, and studying subjects that fit the six Rotary Areas of Focus.
