Important Note:- Unfortunately there are a number of clubs that have not paid their dues to RIBI and District.                                                                                                                                          Failure could result in loss of Voting Rights and possible withdrawal of the club Charter.

VALEDICTIONS:-  We are sorry to report the loss of:- PDG Wally Cole. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to his wife Valerie, family and friends

New Members:- Reminder. Clubs are asked to fill in the new revised Form February 2007 "Members Proposal Forms". A copy must be sent to me (as Dist Sec.)

District Council Meeting.  The next meeting will be Wednesday 21st November at the Town Hall Neath

District Conference at Torquay.  Have you registered there is still time.

RC of Swansea Bay. Best wishes on her recovery to Ann Davies who after fracturing her hip back in June will now commence her term as President from 10th October. All presidential correspondence can now be sent to Ann.

As District Secretary I receive a number of requests from various charities to pass on Rotary club details so they can contact clubs direct. Under the Data Protection Act I'm not allowed to give this information without the consent of the clubs. But I will continue to pass on information from these Charity groups, in the District Newsletters so clubs can contact them if they so wish:-

Rotary Coffee initiative:- The date for ordering coffee for delivery via the District Conference has now passed but the good news is that you can continue to order on the yellow form. Why not try a coffee tasting event to raise money, or just order for Christmas. Don't forget to let your Inner Wheel clubs know. 

Council of Legislation. Please contactDon Carsley to visit your club to give a talk on the results of the resent COL and there implications.

Spokesman:- Reminder to clubs. Robert is still looking for more advertisers for the Spokesman magazine to keep the cost down. Remember the cost are worked into the District dues

Alumni:- Final Reminder District reunion at the Oriel suite, Senedd26th Oct. start 7.00pmCarwyn Jones will give a brief talk followed by a finger buffet.
