Lord Mayor Showing the Way
Annual Charity Boules Tournament and Fun Day, 1st September 2018. Hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Swansea and Mumbles
Mumboules Fun Day Not to be Missed !!
Following the success of last year’s first Mumboules Fun Day and the presentation of cheques for £1,500 each for three local charities, we are now recruiting teams for the second year. Having just successfully played the 20th Annual Boules Match at Swansea Marina on May Bank Holiday, the Rotary Clubs of Swansea and Mumbles are now organising this excellent Fun Day for its second year.
Register a Team Whilst There are Places !!
The Mumboules Fun Day involves 32 teams of 6 players, that’s an amazing 192 players. Winning teams will go through to round two, the quarter final, semi final and the remaining two teams battling it out in the final to win the Trophy which will be presented by The Lord Mayor of Swansea
Each team must raise a minimum of £25 per player, £150 per team. The event is in aid of local charities yet to be nominated. The matches will be played at Southend Gardens on Mumbles Seafront, (opposite Yallops Fish & Chip shop). There are two Boule pitches there and it is the perfect setting.
Fancy Dress or Team shirts are expected. Live music will be performed all day with a beer tent, free children’s entertainment, street food, light refreshments, tea & coffee etc, which should again create a vibrant family friendly atmosphere. The thirty two teams will be fighting it out to get their hands on the Mumboules Fun Day Trophy.
