Sat 31st May Date by which all clubs should have held their AGM.

Reminder:- Clubs must hold their AGM between 1st April and the 31st May for the purpose of existing committees to give their reports and to select new committees for 2008-09.

Last Month I sent out this notice:- All clubs I need you help in compiling a District list of really good SPEAKERS which I can update regularly and make available to all clubs. Please send me their details and which area they are prepared to travel. (I will not release their email address to clubs with out the Speakers permission.) To date I've had only one reply.   

VALEDICTIONS:-  We are sorry to report the loss of  PP John Gilliam-Mumbles.  PP Harry Evans-Ebbw Vale.  PP Barry Stowe-Aberdare We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to John, Harry and Barry's family and friends

Francis Harold Maull-Haverfordwest

Rt. Neil Howard formerly of the Llandrindod Wells Rotary Club has now transferred to the Lampeter Rotary Club. 

Clubs are again reminded to fill in the "Members Proposal Forms", this includes transfers. Copies of the Forms are available from the District Secretary and completed forms must be sent direct to him.

 

RYLA:- If any Club is considering sending someone will they please contact Hugh Clatworthy ASAP the only vacancies for the RYLA course is week commencing 10th August.  The cost is likely to be in the region of £275 per head. Email:- clatworthyhugh@aol.com

 

District Council Meeting.:- The next Meeting will be at the Ty Newydd hotel Hirwaun on Thursday 5th June. (Not at Brecon)
