Club Donations to Foundation
It is the system in District 1190 for all Club donations to Foundation to be sent to the District Treasurer with the cheques being made payable to "RFUK". Using a pro-forma provided by RIBI the District Treasurer then, once a month, sends all the donations received since the last remittance to RFUK at Alcester. The advantages of this system over individual remittances by Clubs to Alcester are that monitoring of the District's giving to the Foundation is much easier and administration at RFUK is also easier.
This system should be used for all Foundation donations including those being made for Polio eradication under the Gates challenge with, as I mention above, the cheques being made payable to "RFUK"
Please get in touch if you have any queries.
