Environment:Promoting a Greener Rotary

World Environment Day is on 6th June, 2009 and this is to be promoted within Rotary.Rotary Clubs are asked to get involved with projects such as;-

 

  • Planting trees
  • Rose and sensory gardens
  • School/college/workplace recycling
  • Graffiti replacement projects
  • Light bulbs
  • Fair trade projects
  • Car share website
  • Working with partnership with the Forestry Commission
  • Promote a school Environmental Competition
