Back at the water's edge
The Trustees of Rivertime Boat Trust welcomed David Suchet to Henley to celebrate the official launch of ‘Rivertime’ the specially commissioned boat for use by disabled and disadvantaged people in the Thames Valley.
On the 22nd July 2008, District Governor Malcolm Boddington, accompanied by Rotarian Emrys Richards, President of the Rotary Club of Windsor St. George, were present when The Worshipful the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Councillor Dorothy Kemp, cut the ribbon to symbolise the launch of "Rivertime", the boat commissioned by the Rivertime Trust to provide access to the river for disabled and disadvantaged children and adults. Also present was Simon Davis, founder of the Rivertime Trust.
After the cutting of the ribbon at Wargrave, the boat was taken to Henley where David Suchet conducted the official launch of
