Gardening at the Child Development Centre

Back again to trim the willow tunnel.

Its that time of the year when we tidy up the garden and the Child Development Centre is no different.Four of us gathered ,including  President Chris  ,armed with tools to prune the willow tunnel and cut down brambles. Fortunately the rain had passed over but it was rather chilly.

Using a battery powered cutter we trimmed the willow and bagged up the waste.Having been fortified with coffee and biscuits we tackled an overgrown bramble.

We assembled for a photo opportunity around a bench presented by club to the Child Development Centre, and Paul Cook,( Early Learning Teacher) ,gratefully accepted the bench on behalf of the department.

Plants (unfortunately)continue to grow, so we will be back next year to trim and tidy up!
