Basingstoke Festival of Transport 19 May 2024

Sun, May 19th 2024 at 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

A great day out for all the family, whether you're a keen motor buff or you just want an interesting and enjoyable Sunday.

Happy New Year to you, we are opening entries to our next Basingstoke Festival of Transport to be held on Sunday 19th May 2024 on 15th January 2024.

Basingstoke Deane Rotary have been running this event for the past few years, having taken over from the Thornycroft Society.

Once again, we expect that the War Memorial Park, Basingstoke, RG21 4AG, will be filled with nearly 750 vehicles. We look forward to seeing both exhibitors and visitors come and enjoy themselves. It is a wonderful family day out.  Parking is available at the Old Common, London Road (use RG21 4BY and follow the parking signs).

As in previous years, there will be a huge range of vehicles on static display, including classic, vintage, commercial, fire engines and military trucks. There will also be a variety of specialist car clubs, trade stalls and catering outlets.

To enter your vehicle into the main display area, please proceed to our online booking system by clicking on the link below. We have a limited number of Car and Motorcycle places so please take this opportunity to book early to avoid disappointment. All profits made from the event are donated to (mainly small and local) charitable organizations and causes.

Even though put on and run by volunteers, costs have been noticeably higher this year and we no longer receive any grant funding, we are now asking car and motorcycle exhibitors to make a payment of £5 plus booking fee per vehicle.

If you run a business (or know someone that does) we are upgrading the festival programme creating advertising opportunities, A5 in size, full page £250, half page £140. There are also sponsorship possibilities that we are happy to discuss. Please let us know of any interest and we will pass on to the relevant team.
