United Nations and Rotary

There is a little known close relationship between the United Nations and Rotary which began in 1942, in the war . Rotary clubs from 21 countries organized a conference in London to develop A vision for the advancement of education, science and culture after the war. That event was a precursor to UNESCO. In 1945, a total of 49 rotarians went to San Francisco, acting as delegates, consultants and consultants at the conference on the charter of the United Nations, which entered into force three years later, in 1948. Since then , Rotary and the United Nations have been close partners to achieve a more peaceful world.
