Penicuik in the Park

Children's races, stalls, duck races, entertainers and a fun fair. A day to remember.

Saturday 25th May

One new feature this year at Penicuik in the Park will be the Children's Sports. These will be held in the all-weather pitches and run by the Penicuik Harriers. There will be boys' and girls' races for any interested children as follows:

2:30pm Ages 5-6
2:45pm Ages 7-8
3:00pm Ages 9-10
3:15pm Ages 11-12

If your children want to take part, please email , giving your child's name, age and gender.

Or you can just turn up (15 minutes early!) and if there is space you can join in.

Thanks to all who have requested a stall for the afternoon of this year’s Hunter & Lass Day. For those of you who are still thinking about it, now is the time to bite the bullet and give us a ring to book your pitch. If you are a local organisation or charity group, please contact Iain Steven on 675940, Dave Anderson on 674818, or any member of the Rotary Club of Penicuik to book your place in the park for the year's busiest afternoon.

Penicuik in the Park is organised by Rotary Club of Penicuik and is held annually on the last Saturday in May. It complements the Penicuik on Parade and Hunter and Lass celebrations on the same day and is the final event of the afternoon. It commences around 2pm or as soon as the parade reaches the Public Park. Entertainers will be there including another new venture, a silent disco. The Rotary ducks will be racing, there will be local dancers and musicians and numerous stalls. Come along and join the Rotary Club of Penicuik in helping to make it a day to remember.
