Great North Air Ambulance

At our Cheque Presentation evening earlier in the year a representative of the Great North Air Ambulance was unable to attend but we presented a cheque following an update on their work.
The Great North Air Ambulance is one of the local charities which Seahouses and District Rotary Club have chosen to support. Coming from a rural area, where a medical emergency might involve an hour's drive down the A1, we appreciate there may be times where the air ambulance may be called locally. It was good to get an update on their work and hear about the amazing level of life saving care which can be provided. At the end of the evening our President, Vic Crew, together with past President Jane Graham handed over our cheque.
