Back In August, the Rotary Club of Oswestry invited veteran soldier Ash Anderson to speak to the Club about the exciting and valuable project to convert the former Hope Church on Oswestry's Laburnum Drive into a 22 room facility, to be called 'The Harbour', that will provide accommodation to former military personnel in need of support in such areas as mental health and employment skills.

With the construction completion date looking like being August - October 2023, members of the Club want to support The Harbour by furnishing one room for the residents.

This street collection is in aid of that cause and Rotary members will be seen on the streets of Oswestry on Saturday morning collecting donations from the public - which will be gratefully received.

Please support by donating whatever you can afford?

If you are now part of the 'cashless society', you are also able to donate by text via QR codes that the collectors will have available for you.
