RGB&I KidsOut Co-ordinator



Steve joined Rotary in 2002, becoming President of Rotary Club of Lichfield St Chad (D1060) in 2005.

During his year as D1060 District Governor (2012-2013), known by many in his District as the ‘fastest DG’, due to his quick style of leadership typified by his motto “Let’s GO Rotary!”

Transferred to Cannock Rotary Club (D1210) October 2020.

Qualified mechanical engineer Steve, and Community Midwife Gail married in 2000 are both now retired allowing them to spend even more time at their house in Nevis, W. Indies. They have 2 married daughters and 2 Grandchildren.

Besides ‘Rotary’ Steve continues to referee football matches which he has done so for over 40 years. Also volunteers for the National Trust.

A member of the St John Ambulance, honoured to be an Officer (Brother) of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem.

He is also a Trustee of KidsOut (‘The Fun & Happiness Charity’) helping disadvantaged children in the UK providing a link between the KidsOut Charity, Rotary GB&I, Rotary Districts in GB&I, Clubs and Members.

With a continued passion for ‘Rotary’, with an undoubted infectious fun approach to helping others less fortunate than ourselves.
