Lindsay and Charlotte: the Thera Trust

Lindsay and Charlotte tell us about their work with the Thera Trust to support adults with learning difficulties in our community.

About us

We are a small friendly group which serves the communities of Bingham, Radcliffe on Trent, East Bridgford, Cotgrave and the surrounding villages.  Our members come mostly, but not exclusively, from this area.

Socially we are a mixed bunch with a relaxed and open attitude to visitors and friends.

Our meetings are informal and are held in the evening, so they are suitable for those who are unable to come to meetings during the working day.  We usually have a stimulating speaker.  The topics are very wide-ranging and from time to time we make visits to interesting places locally.

Like all Rotary groups worldwide, we are part of Rotary International.  We are active in the community and we support various charities, both locally and internatonally.   Look at the "What We Do" pages or our Programme for more.

If you are interested finding out more, or would like to come to one of our meetings, please contact us through the Contact page.
