On 7th January 2021 Allan talked on Zoom about his hobby for many years of photographing planets, features of the moon, nebula and far off galaxies. He described the equipment he used and some secrets of his success. A lively discussion followed the talk.

Rotary makes Donation of £200 to Bute Wombles.

John Weir with Lance McLellan-Hatton, Fay Davidson and Ceira Davidson of Bute Wombles handing over a safety jacket which had been paid for from the Rotary Donation. The funds are being used to purchase safety equipment for use while collecting litter etc.

Welcome to the Rotary Club of Rothesay on the Isle of Bute

A very warm welcome is extended by President Ronnie Falconer and members of the Rotary Club of Rothesay to all Rotarians visiting the Isle of Bute. The club would normally meet every Thursday at 6.00 pm for 6.15 pm at the Victoria Hotel, 55 Victoria Street, Rothesay. (Tel: 01700 500016) where the venue post code is PA20 0AP. Meetings are currently by Zoom and intimated in Happening Soon.

A Club Meeting - Discussion Night - will be held at Craigmore Bowling Club. Drinks will be available but no food.

4.45 pm for Bowlers and 6.45 pm for non-Bowlers. Drinks available but bring your own picnic.
