Rotary Garden 2020
To celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Rotary Club of Rothesay it was agreed that the Club would develop a special area at the Joint Campus to be known as the Rotary Garden.

A successful 'Tartan Tammie' Scottish Night was held on 28th January 2021. Over 35 members and guests joined in and to give a truly Scottish flavour several sported a Tartan Tammy and most wore something tartan.
details70th Birthday Bowls Night
The Club celebrated their 70th Birthday on 3rd September with some bowling followed by refreshments and a piece of birthday cake. Our thanks to Craigmore Bowling Club for organising an enjoyable socially distanced evening.

There was no annual service this year but President Georgeann was joined by Billy Shields to lay a wreath in memory of the merchant seamen buried there, in particular from the SS Coronda, SS Empire Dorado, SS British Glory, Matroos KV and SS Empire Cloud.

On 7th January 2021 Allan talked on Zoom about his hobby for many years of photographing planets, features of the moon, nebula and far off galaxies. He described the equipment he used and some secrets of his success. A lively discussion followed the talk.

A very warm welcome is extended by President Georgeann Martin and members of the Rotary Club of Rothesay to all Rotarians visiting the Isle of Bute.
