We have a passion to make a difference in the Community, whether that community is in Brentwood, in Britain and Ireland or worldwide and we recognise that an effective way for a group of motivated individuals to make a difference is through belonging to a service organisation with a global footprint whose ideals match ours - Rotary International.
Since we were formed as a Club in 1998 we have organised regular social and fundraising activities whilst also serving our community through a varied programme of projects and Vocational work, finding out about local and interational opportunities to make a difference, keep active with sporting events and sociable Sunday walks that finished with a good pub meal!
As we start 2021 still in lockdown, our meetings continue via Zoom and we remain committed to support our Community where and when we can and, as part of Rotary International, to be proactive in helping our Communities to renew and rebuild after Covid.
Our fundraising and voluntary work is centred on Brentwood and Essex but through Rotary’s own Charity Rotary Foundation we also support Rotary International’s projects that work towards making a difference in the following areas:
• Peace and Conflict Resolution, Disease Prevention and Treatment
• Water and Sanitation, Maternal and Child Health
• Basic Education and Literacy, Economic and Community

Please Note: Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland (RIBI) is an Association of private clubs, members of which abide by the Constitution and By-laws of the Association, and by the Constitution of their own club.

Please note that "membership of a club is by invitation only, at the discretion of the members."
It is important, therefore, that you take time to visit your prospective club on a few occasions to ensure not only that you get to know its members and that you will feel happy being part of the club, but also that you give its members a chance to get to know you.
