About us

SEFTON - HOME OF THE GRAND NATIONAL AND ANTONY GORMLEY IRON MEN

THE ROTARY CLUB OF SOUTH SEFTON extends a very warm welcome to our website visitors and we thank you for your interest. Chartered in the year 2000 as a breakfast club we replaced the Rotary Club of Bootle and Litherland which unfortunately had ceased to exist.

Although we are relatively small in numbers we have made an impact in Rotary circles for our innovative ideas on how to promote our service to the immediate community and indeed, internationally.

In the years since our affiliation we have raised considerable sums for worthwhile causes and enjoyed the challenges and friendship which abounds within our Club.

Friends of Rotary is one of our initiatives, being an informal group of supporters who regularly take part in our activities and help us achieve our aims --- additional Friends and indeed new members, are always welcome.
