Our Club in Fermoy was chartered in 2007. We are part of the world's first ever service club organisation with more than 1.2 million members in over 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers from all walks of life who work locally, regionally and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self. Since 2007 our Club has supported many good causes at local, national and international level with tremendous support from the people in and around Fermoy. We welcome new volunteers who are willing to help and to abide by our 4 way test which is;
Of the things that we think, say and do
1. Is it the Truth ?
2. Is it Fair to all concerned ?
3. Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships ?
4. Will it be Beneficial to all concerned ?
Be part of a global network of volunteers, trying to make the world a better place. Please also see the 'links & news' page for information from the local district and live feeds from Rotary International and Rotary International in GB&I.
