About us

THE 2013 RIBI COMMUNITY AWARD WAS WON BY FRAMLINGHAM ROTARY CLUB AT THE RIBI CONFERENCE AT HARROGATE ON 14TH APRIL 2013 FOR THIS PROJECT.

THIS AWARD WAS AGAIN WON BY FRAMLINGHAM IN 2017 AT THE RIBI CONFERENCE AT MANCHESTER !!

"HOUR COMMUNITY" is the Community Service project launched by Framlingham Rotary Club in 2010, and now a Registered Charity.

The project links needy persons with tradespeople and other volunteers who are willing to donate an hour (or so) of their skilled time - maybe it's plumbing, paving slabs or electrics, or gardening, dog walking etc
We have electric vehicles, including ones with a hydraulic tail gate capable of carrying wheelchair bound passengers either to hospital or other pre-arranged visits such as dentist, doctors or even vets!
For details on any of these - contact Stuart on 01728 440 511 www.hourcommunity.co.uk

That's the sort of thing that we get up to here in Framlingham!! So, whether you're on holiday here in North Suffolk, or live nearby, you're sure to come across our activities from time to time.

We meet twice a month, over a light dinner at the Crown Hotel, or elsewhere,  sometimes with a guest speaker, or some home-spun entertainment, and help organise a number of community-related projects, both local and international, during the year. Some of these projects need financial support so you'll often see us looking to raise funds from public donations, or parking cars!

Pay us a visit - find out more - our Secretary can be contacted by clicking on  "Contact Us" at the top of this web-page.and completing the drop-down "Contact Form"
