About us

Welcome to the Rotary Bipolar eClub – Our club is open to anyone with an interest in bipolar. Our mission is to transform opinion, perception and the lives of people with bipolar around the world. 

We are one of Rotary's newest cause-based clubs. This means we are connected through and passionate about our cause (bipolar) and enjoy and benefit from being part of the 1.4 million Rotary membership worldwide. 

We are not like a traditional Rotary club.


Who are our members:

We are a mix of people with lived experience, professional expertise and those who are invested in making a difference for the bipolar community globally.

Membership is open to anyone regardless of your location and background.

We invite you to join us to use your time, talents, professional skills and energy to improving the lives of people around the world.

Why join:

  • Be part of something new, innovative and proactive in helping people with a bipolar diagnosis to lead full lives
     
  • Challenge commonly held public perceptions of bipolar and mental illness by listening and learning from expert guest speakers and then amplifying these messages throughout Rotary worldwide and making a positive impact in our local communities
     
  • Network and make connections with fellow members across industries including healthcare, creative industry, learning and development
     
  • Develop as an individual through working with the whole team on topics including self-development, online training courses,(free to members) take on roles in specific projects, speaking opportunities, and many others -  all at your own pace!

 

As a club, we meet twice a month:

  • Second Tuesday of the month at 12pm/UK time 
     
  • Fourth Tuesday of the month at 8pm/UK time

These meetings are virtual and usually run for 60 minutes. We are flexible on attendance, so feel free to join whenever it works best for you.
